Mobile …

As of the end of 2010, Smartphones were outselling PCs in the United States — this, to me, signals a fundamental shift in the way social media can and will behave in the future, and libraries have to be on board.

I have quoted him before in my blog, but Joe Murphy (www.joemurphylibraryfuture.com) from Yale University has become a huge advocate for libraries and mobile social media.  Location based technologies seem to be the way of the future, as we see with packages like foursquare.  I definitely would suggest following Joe’s blogs in this area.

Thought it was worth mentioning this again … now, on to podcasting …
